- I recently installed Win95 on my computer. I had been using WFW311 and my
- modem worked fine. However, in Win95, my modem is having connection problems
- whenever I try to use Hyperterminal or dial-up networking.
-
- I can go into Hyperterminal and dial manually by entering ATDT and the phone
- number. In that case, the modem dials, negotiates, and connects me. I can
- then communicate in the terminal mode, and disconnect when I am through.
- However, when I let the program do the dialing, the modem dials, negotiates,
- and connects. Then it appears to lock up. In fact, as can be seen from an
- excerpt from the modemlog file, it will not even recognize a disconnect
- command after this. I get the same results when I use dial-up networking.
- What am I doing wrong?
-
- Thanks in advance,
