  11. I recently installed Win95 on my computer.  I had been using WFW311 and my 
  12. modem worked fine.  However, in Win95, my modem is having connection problems 
  13. whenever I try to use Hyperterminal or dial-up networking.  
  14.  
  15. I can go into Hyperterminal and dial manually by entering ATDT and the phone 
  16. number.  In that case, the modem dials, negotiates, and connects me. I can 
  17. then communicate in the terminal mode, and disconnect when I am through. 
  18. However, when I let the program do the dialing, the modem dials, negotiates, 
  19. and connects.  Then it appears to lock up.  In fact, as can be seen from an 
  20. excerpt from the modemlog file, it will not even recognize a disconnect 
  21. command after this.  I get the same results when I use dial-up networking.  
  22. What am I doing wrong?
